A busy centre on the Princes Highway

Rockdale is a busy centre built around its station and the Princes Highway, which runs straight through it toward the airport and the south. The Highway and the centre carry heavy traffic, and the housing is a dense mix of walk-up unit blocks near the line and family homes on the surrounding streets. We plan the truck run and parking around the Highway and load from the quieter side streets where we can. From our Strathfield South base it’s a short, familiar trip.

Walk-up units and family homes

A Rockdale move might be a walk-up unit near the centre or a family home on a side street. We handle both — stair-carry gear and protected staircases for the lift-free blocks, and short driveway carries for the homes. For a full house move we bring the pads and size the crew to the home.

What a Rockdale move costs

Straightforward half-hourly pricing plus GST, with a minimum of 2 hours plus a 30-minute travel call-out:

Day	Rate (2 movers + truck)
Monday – Friday	$68 + GST per half hour
Saturday – Sunday	$78 + GST per half hour

That’s for two movers and a fully equipped truck. Walk-up units with stairs, or a move near the busy Highway centre, can add time — we factor it into your estimate up front. Items over 100kg may need a third mover at an extra $50/hr + GST.
