A university suburb on Anzac Parade

Kensington sits along Anzac Parade beside the University of NSW, with the light rail running down the middle — a suburb shaped by its student and staff population. The housing is a mix of Federation and interwar homes, terraces and walk-up apartment blocks, with high turnover around semester. Anzac Parade is busy and side-street parking is tight, so we plan the truck run, the closest access and the timing before the day. We’re based in Strathfield South and cover the east.

Homes, terraces, and student moves

A Kensington move might be a family home, a terrace, a walk-up unit, or a quick student or share-house move. We handle each — full house moves with careful handling, and stair-carry gear and protected staircases for the walk-ups and terraces. Our apartment removals page covers the blocks.

What a Kensington move costs

Straightforward half-hourly pricing plus GST, with a minimum of 2 hours plus a 30-minute travel call-out:

Day	Rate (2 movers + truck)
Monday – Friday	$68 + GST per half hour
Saturday – Sunday	$78 + GST per half hour

That’s for two movers and a fully equipped truck. Terrace or walk-up stairs, or tight Anzac Parade side-street parking, can add time — we factor it into your estimate up front. Items over 100kg may need a third mover at an extra $50/hr + GST.
