Separate houses and semis

Around 80% of Denistone dwellings are separate houses and about 19% are semi-detached, so most moves are family homes and semis. We walk through the property, protect floors and doorways, take apart beds and wardrobes that will not clear a doorway, and wrap everything for the truck.

Victoria Road, Terry Road and Brush Road

Victoria Road, Tramway Street, Terry Road and Brush Road frame the suburb, and Darvall Park’s bushland reserve and The Hermitage, a heritage house from about 1842, are local landmarks. We map the truck position and the departure time around those roads before moving day, so the crew loads quickly.

What a Denistone move costs

Straightforward half-hourly pricing plus GST, with a minimum of 2 hours plus a 30-minute travel call-out:

Day	Rate (2 movers + truck)
Monday – Friday	$68 + GST per half hour
Saturday – Sunday	$78 + GST per half hour

That’s for two movers and a fully equipped truck. Steep or difficult access, or larger four- and five-bedroom homes, may run better with a third mover at an extra $50/hr + GST. Items over 100kg may need the third crew member too.
