Beachside walk-ups on the hill

Coogee is a popular beachside suburb of art-deco and mid-century walk-up apartment blocks and semis, on streets that fall steeply toward the beach. It’s a high-turnover renter pocket, especially among students and young professionals, with scarce parking near the sand and stairs in most blocks. We plan the closest access, the crew for the stairs, and the timing to dodge the beach traffic before the day. We’re based in Strathfield South and cover the east.

Walk-up units and semis

A Coogee move is often an art-deco walk-up unit or a semi on a steep street. We handle both — stair-carry gear and protected staircases for the walk-ups, and careful carries with planned access for the semis. Our apartment removals page covers how we handle the blocks.

What a Coogee move costs

Straightforward half-hourly pricing plus GST, with a minimum of 2 hours plus a 30-minute travel call-out:

Day	Rate (2 movers + truck)
Monday – Friday	$68 + GST per half hour
Saturday – Sunday	$78 + GST per half hour

That’s for two movers and a fully equipped truck. Walk-up stairs, steep streets, or a beachside street where the truck can’t park close can add time — we factor it into your estimate up front. Items over 100kg may need a third mover at an extra $50/hr + GST.
