A busy western centre near Parramatta

Merrylands is one of the bigger centres in Sydney’s west, just south of Parramatta — anchored by Stockland Merrylands and its station, with a genuinely mixed housing stock. Established family homes on the surrounding streets sit alongside a fast-growing cluster of new apartment blocks near the centre. That means two kinds of move, and the busy centre and mall traffic take planning, which we sort before the day.

Family homes and new apartments

A Merrylands move might be a full family home in the surrounds or a new apartment near the centre. We handle both — short driveway carries for the homes, and lift and loading access booked ahead for the new blocks. Moving to or from a neighbour like Parramatta or Granville? The short local run keeps travel off your bill.

What a Merrylands move costs

Straightforward half-hourly pricing plus GST, with a minimum of 2 hours plus a 30-minute travel call-out:

Day	Rate (2 movers + truck)
Monday – Friday	$68 + GST per half hour
Saturday – Sunday	$78 + GST per half hour

That’s for two movers and a fully equipped truck. A booked apartment lift, or a larger family home, can affect timing — we plan for it and give a clear estimate up front. Items over 100kg may need a third mover at an extra $50/hr + GST.
