Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree, eBay, IKEA click-and-collect — you bought it, now you need it collected and delivered. Couches, dining tables, bookshelves, wardrobes, fridges, washing machines. We pick up from the seller’s address and deliver to yours. You don’t need to be there for pickup if the seller is home, but we’ll need you or someone you nominate at delivery.

Single item and small-load moves are charged per half hour with a minimum of 2 hours plus a 30-minute travel call-out. Two professional movers and a truck are included in the rate.

Many single-item or small-load jobs complete within the minimum, which is your starting price for simple jobs. Here’s a rough guide: Marketplace pickup and delivery (same suburb) 2–3 hours total; a single large appliance such as a fridge or washing machine 2–3 hours; a one-bedroom worth of furniture 2–4 hours; a few heavy pieces across town 2–3 hours. The minimum is 2 hours plus a 30-minute travel call-out, and we’ll give you an honest estimate when you enquire.

Is there a minimum charge for a single item move?
Yes — the minimum is 2 hours plus a 30-minute travel call-out. Many single-item and small-load jobs in Sydney complete within the minimum, so it’s effectively your ceiling for straightforward jobs. For items that are very heavy, on a high floor, or require long carries, additional time may apply — we’ll estimate this upfront.
Can you pick up a Marketplace purchase from a stranger’s home?
Yes — and this is one of our most common single-item requests. You don’t need to be present at pickup as long as the seller is home and knows to expect us. We collect, load, and deliver to your address. Provide us the seller’s contact details so we can coordinate arrival.
Can you move a fridge or washing machine?
Yes. Appliances are one of the most requested single-item moves. Fridges and washing machines need to be disconnected and drained before we arrive — we don’t disconnect plumbing or electrical. We handle the move itself. Reconnection at the destination is also not included unless specifically discussed.
Can you do a same-day single item pickup?
Subject to availability — yes. Call us rather than using the online form for same-day requests. We’ll check availability and give you an honest answer immediately.
What’s the heaviest item you can move?
Items up to 100kg are handled by two movers with standard equipment. Items over 100kg — large safes, commercial equipment, some gym gear — require a third removalist at an additional rate. Pianos are a specialist service with separate pricing — see our piano removals page.
Can you move items between a property and a storage unit?
Yes. We pick up at one address and deliver to a storage facility, or collect from storage and deliver to your home. If you’ve already arranged access to the storage unit, we handle the carrying.
Do you move items for businesses?
Yes — a single item or small load for a business is handled the same as for a residential customer. Office chairs to a new location, a display item to a new showroom, equipment between two business premises. Call us with the details.
Can you help me move one room out of a share house?
Yes. We load your items from your room, leaving the rest of the house undisturbed. Coordinate access with your housemates beforehand so we can come and go from the property smoothly.
