Professional Packing and Unpacking Services Sydney — Protect Your Belongings From the First Box
Full packing, partial packing, fragile-item care, and quality moving boxes. Add it to your move or book it on its own.
Most move-day damage happens not on the truck, but in the packing. Poorly wrapped glasses, overfilled boxes, kitchen items without padding, clothes shoved loose into bags — these are the things that break, crease, and arrive in a worse state than they left. Move Masters Removalists offers a full range of professional packing services across Sydney: from a complete home pack the day before your move, to fragile-item specialist handling, to quality moving boxes and materials if you prefer to pack yourself. Whichever option suits you, we’ll make sure your belongings arrive in the same condition they left.

Packing and Unpacking
Every move is different. Some people want us to pack everything. Others just want the kitchen and fragile items done. Some prefer to pack themselves and just need quality boxes. We offer all of it. Packing yourself? Start with our guide on how to pack a kitchen so nothing breaks.
Full Home Packing
We pack your entire home — every room, every item — using the right materials for each category. Kitchenware gets cell-packed or paper-wrapped. Clothes get folded into wardrobe boxes. Fragile items get double-wrapped. Books get small boxes so they don’t get too heavy to lift. Everything is labelled clearly by room.
Full packing is usually done the day before your move and takes a professional team 3–6 hours for a one-bedroom apartment, longer for larger homes. When we’re done, every box is sealed, labelled, and ready to load.
Partial Packing
You handle the rooms you’re comfortable with; we handle the ones you’d rather not. Most people ask us to pack the kitchen (fragile, time-consuming), the study (electronics and cords), and the wardrobes. We fit around whatever you’ve already done and make sure the rest is properly packed before move day.
Fragile & Specialist Item Packing
Glassware, crockery, artwork, mirrors, antiques, TVs, wine collections, high-value electronics — these get specialist treatment regardless of whether you’re using our full pack service. Each item is wrapped individually, cushioned, and placed into the right box for its shape and weight. Fragile boxes are clearly marked and loaded last so they unload first.
Unpacking Service
We unload your boxes at the new home and unpack them into the right rooms — putting items away as directed by you, breaking down boxes, and taking the packing materials away with us. It’s the part most people underestimate how much they’ll appreciate after a long move day.
Moving Boxes & Supplies — Buy or Bundle
If you’re packing yourself, we supply quality moving boxes and materials — delivered to your home or available for collection. We offer the full range: small and medium boxes for books, kitchen, and general goods; large and extra-large for light bulky items; wardrobe boxes for clothing on hangers; picture boxes for framed art and mirrors; and all the materials you need — packing paper, bubble wrap, tape, and box labels.
Moving Boxes & Packing Supplies — What We Offer

Why Professional Packing Pays for Itself
Fewer breakages, fewer headaches
The vast majority of move-day damage happens at the packing stage, not on the truck. Professional packing means the right box for the right item, the right amount of cushioning, and boxes that won’t fail under load. Less damage means no disputes, no insurance claims, and no replacing things you didn’t budget for.
It’s faster than you think
A professional packing team works quickly and systematically. What takes most people a weekend of stressed, interrupted packing — we complete in a focused few hours. You get that weekend back, and you arrive at the new place without the exhaustion of having packed everything yourself.
Everything’s labelled and organised
We label every box by room and contents. When you arrive at the new home, you know exactly what’s in every box and where it goes. No mystery boxes. No spending an hour hunting for your coffee machine.
Your fragile items actually stay safe
Professional-grade wrapping is different from a couple of layers of old newspaper. We use double-wrap on glassware, cell packing for crockery, and custom-cut foam or paper padding for items that need it. The difference in how things arrive is real.
How Our Packing Service Works
1. Tell us what you need
When you request a quote, let us know which packing option interests you — full pack, partial, fragile-only, or just boxes. We’ll ask a few questions about your home size and what you need covered.
2. Confirm the schedule
Full packing is usually the day before the move. Fragile and partial packing can be done the morning of. We confirm timing and access when we book so everything’s planned.
3. Packing day
Our team arrives with all materials — boxes, paper, bubble wrap, tape, labels. We work room by room, label as we go, and leave your home packed, sealed, and organised. You don’t need to supply anything.
4. Move day
If we’re also doing your move, the packed boxes are ready to load. If you’ve arranged separate movers, they’ll find a clean, organised pack ready to go.
5. At the new home
If you’ve added unpacking, we unload and put items into the right rooms. If you’re unpacking yourself, all boxes are clearly labelled so you know exactly where to start.
Packing Services — Frequently Asked Questions
Yes — and that's the most common way people use it. When you request a move quote, simply let us know you'd like packing added. We'll schedule packing for the day before or the morning of your move and include it in your quote.
Yes. You can order boxes and packing supplies separately — no move booking required. We deliver to your address or you can arrange collection. Let us know what you need when you enquire.
Ideally at the same time you book your move — especially for full home packs, which require a confirmed time slot the day before. For smaller packing add-ons (fragile items, one room), a week's notice is usually enough.
Very little. Clear access to each room, have wardrobes and drawers accessible, and let us know about any items that need special treatment (inherited antiques, very high-value artwork, items you want to pack yourself). We bring everything else.
We recommend it, especially for the first time. You can direct placement, flag items you want packed carefully, and mark anything you're taking yourself. For larger packs over multiple rooms, many customers check in periodically rather than standing over us — either works.
We don't pack plants (too variable for transport), open liquids, perishable food, or hazardous materials (paint, gas bottles, flammable items). Valuables like cash, jewellery, passports, and important documents should be packed and carried by you personally.
Double wrapping in packing paper for most glassware and crockery; cell packing (individual compartmented inserts) for wine glasses and stemware; bubble wrap for electronics, artwork, and anything delicate; foam corner protectors for framed art and mirrors. Every fragile box is clearly marked and loaded with care.
Yes — that's exactly what partial packing is for. The kitchen is the most common single-room request, because it has the most fragile items and takes the most time. Just let us know which rooms or areas you want us to handle and we'll quote accordingly.
Yes. Unpacking can be added to any move — we unload boxes into the right rooms, put items away as directed, break down boxes, and take the used packing materials away. It's usually booked at the same time as packing and the move.
We take care with every item. If an issue occurs, let us know before the truck leaves so we can assess it on the spot. Damage claims made after the fact are harder to assess, so a walkthrough at the end of packing — and again at delivery — is always worthwhile. All jobs carry public liability and standard transit cover.
Add packing to your move or order supplies today.
